This morning I'm determined to delight in the hazy quiet beginning to the day. Like most women, every morning I wake up and immediately feel the burden of my "to-dos". The more I ignore the list, the more the guilt creeps up my back. I don't claim to be the most busy, as I have friends far more committed and tired than I. Even yet, I feel tired from time to time.
There's a beautiful quote I heard from the movie Eat, Pray, Love. I didn't really like the movie much, but I find this Italian proverb very beautiful: "the sweetness of doing nothing." Yesterday, I finished all my finals at school and soon there after crashed into bed. I promised myself I would sleep in this morning, wake up slowly and feel free to bask in bed with a magazine before I tackle our insanely torn apart house, errands and emails.
So here I am! The light this morning is calm and soothing...so is my Anthropologie June 2012 magazine. I was amazed by the quiet bursts of light, pops of color and windblown looks. Perfect for our jump into summmer...here's a peek!
