I can't believe I forgot about these pictures! I happened to be at my mom's house...helping her pick some wild strawberries from her garden (well, maybe photographing more than helping). While fiddling with my camera I came across a frog sitting on a rose!
I have memories of jumping around in a swamp behind our family sized tent at church campouts with all the boys. One year, I actually caught a giant toad that I could hardly carry. I walked with him all the way up the hill to our campsite and took great joy in shocking (and grossing out) everyone I came in contact with. That was SO long ago.
This frog experience was a little more delicate I should say...but a nice summer memory for adult-hood just the same.
