If you are reading this it's because you've landed on JARFLY, my personal blog chronicling adventures in photography, vintage, DIY projects and graphic design. JARFLY is a three-fold creative business specializing in Photography, Vintage Rentals and Paper Goods. When we launch in Fall of 2013, it will be your one-stop shop for all things lovely and wedding related. You could say this blog is both a behind the scenes glimpse and also a place to inspire, support other artists/designers/photographers, and share thoughts on life.

I'm currently a graphic design student and also contribute regularly to Darling Magazine and Here Comes The Sun blog. I love writing, reading, art, photography, travel and interiors. From time to time I'm known to sneak some top raman, buy a lawn gnome and kick rocks while I walk. I love jazz, thrifting and wearing scarves in the summer. 

I guess you could say I'm a typical hipster-wanna-be Portland, Oregon gal...which works out great since that's where I live. My husband Kenny is a software engineer by day beer brewer by night...as a team we are stubbornly forging a pathway towards making what we TRULY love a part of our everyday lives and hopefully someday, our careers full-time.

My hope for JARFLY, is that it become a place to celebrate daily beauty, honesty and ring true in some way to people...if even a few. I hope you enjoy it...and I especially hope you join me each week!
